William Ralph Skerratt, 77, died peacefully on September 14, 2024, at Morristown Medical Center in New Jersey.

Born and raised in Lowellville in far eastern Ohio, Bill was a psychology major at Oberlin College, graduating in 1969.

He later earned an MBA from Columbia Business School. After working as a loan officer for Wall Street banks, he served as an executive at Montgomery Engineering Company and Brilaur Corporation. 

Later in life, Bill worked as a freelance audio recording engineer and enjoyed playing bass guitar in several “geezer rock” bands (his words), performing at venues around the area.
