I sang many recitals in North and South America, summer stock, etc., but couldn't earn a living at it, so I went into the music business, first in the publicity department of Theodore Presser Co, and then as Assistant to the President of Vanguard Records. Meanwhile I married a wonderful husband and had two fantastic sons, who make everything in life worthwhile and a delight.
Since retirement I have two satisfying volunteer jobs--I visit stroke patients on the rehab floor of Mt. Sinai Hospital to subtly show them that there can be a meaningful and productive life after catastrophic stroke. I also facilitate a widows grief support group.
