Just retired from my umpteenth different career--20 years of teaching middle school math and science.
Previously a quant on Wall Street, a failed software entrepreneur, an operations researcher at a paper company, a teacher at St. Ann's in Brooklyn, NY, and a computer programmer and business modeler at General Electric.

Now volunteer tutoring young adults struggling to get their high school equivalency, traveling to see grandchildren, reading, playing tennis, and riding.

I left after the Samoan circle but picked up your book--and then came back to the workshop/discussion precisely because of it! You're in Montclair, I'm in Princeton Junction. maybe we can get together some time.

Sorry we've lost touch for so many years. Still pretty active but not on the scale of backpacking for a week. My younger son Everett graduated from Oberlin in 2009 and is now an astronomy post-doc at U of A in Tucson. Among other things, he's involved with instruments for the James Webb telescope. I'll see you at the reunion.
